What the locals are saying…

Wow! My girlfriend and I found this place after visiting aquarium and a few other places we tried to get lunch were closed. Started with the oysters on the half shell which were fresh and delicious. From there we had the spinach crab dip which had nice chunks of crab and a slight kick to it. This was quickly devoured as it was near perfection. Lastly I had the blackened tuna burrito which when I ordered was not sure what to expect. Let me say, even after the first two courses this was just off the charts amazing. Huge chunks of blackened tuna that melted in your mouth in a sauce that danced around my taste buds. The thing was bursting with tuna. On the side were a generous helping of guacamole, black beans & rice. My only complaint, and it’s minor was the use of white rice instead of a Mexican rice. But again this is minor! Our server Roy was very attentive and polite. Overall a great experience. The best meal I’ve enjoyed in a while and this is high praise. I’m still floored hours later. Thank you Rudee’s® for an epic meal!

“Fresh Seafood!!! Great Service!!!”
Stopped in for dinner last evening and was absolutely not disappointed. you can tell the seafood is extremely fresh and the chef definitely knows his way around the kitchen. Our server Ashley was great!!!! One of the friendliest and attentive we have ever had. She made sure that everything was exactly as it should be and that we did not have need for anything!! Highly recommend this establishment not only for its food and service, but the location is great as well. Great job to all!!!!!!

In my quest for the “perfect” nachos I have hit the jackpot. They offer both chicken and tuna versions, and yes, I have tried and loved them both! To add to the experience, you have to sit outside on the “swinging tables”. The ambience of dining by the docks just adds to the fun. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!

I really like this place. The cabana bar is where it’s at. Great atmosphere! The Happy Hour specials are great. The staff is friendly and play great Reggae music to drink to. The food is a little pricey, but very good! Rudee’s® is probably one of my favorite places to go down at the ocean front. If you a family going for dinner make sure you call for reservations or get there early; there’s always a wait!

“Awesome seafood on the water”
We stopped in for lunch on my husband’s birthday and had the best salad with blackened tuna; was amazing tuna; he had the she crab soup which is his fav and said it was excellent A fun ambiance near the water; would choose to eat outside next time, didn’t notice we could on the way in………loved it and will return when down there again.

We were on vacation and came here for dinner on Sunday evening. Though the wait was 45 minutes it was well worth it. We started with the chicken nachos and though a little pricey for an appetizer it was well worth it. I had the blackened tuna and my wife the crab cake. Both all was fantastic and even the kids food was great! We loved it so much we were back on Tuesday night!

“As good as it gets”
We thought we would try this restaurant because we could not fit it in last year. This year it was our first choice and what a good decision. The ambiance was terrific and so was the service. The food was off the charts. We started with she crab soup. Absolutely delicious, could not have been better. Entrees selected were scallops scampi and flounder. Both came with a vegetable medley of red potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, green beans, peas in the pod, onions, red pepper and carrot. Everything was served hot, nicely seasoned and promptly. The best seafood of the year. Even the wine selected was top notch. All dinners out should be this satisfying.

“Place to Send Your Guests”
We’ve done Rudee’s® for many years and has become one of our main seafood places to direct our out-of-town guests. Our favorite spot includes sitting in the outdoor patio especially on those evenings when the cooler summer breezes come right off the water. The crab cakes I believe can compete highly in the HR region. The Mrs. (non-seafood) enjoys the cut of prime beef, which has always been cooked to perfection. Our staff has always been attentive but you do have to give a little leeway in their service as the kitchen is located across the lot… it’s a good walk over the course of a work shift!
